Bouchra ELM was born on October 21, 1990, in Rabat, Morocco. Before venturing into music, Bouchra — known by her stage name "Bouchra ELM" — had already made a name for herself in the world of cinema. She appeared in both a short and a feature film directed by Hicham El Asri, showcasing her talent as an actress and performer. Versatile in her craft, Bouchra is both a singer, actress, and performer.

2019 marked her debut in the music industry. She gained attention with her track Wala vie and a mash-up featuring songs by international artists. The videos, published on YouTube, has now amassed 30 million views and 300K followers and topped the trending charts in Morocco, Belgium, and Algeria, and reached the 4th position on Anghami.

In 2025 Bouchra signed with Goze Limited and started a close artistic collaboration with award winning producer Christophe Goze for the release of her 1st album
