BIOGRAPHY
Skeb is a progressive rock artist, producer & guitarist whose music bridges cultures, eras, and genres.
Born in Tokyo, Japan, to a French father and an Irish mother, Skeb was immersed in a world of diversity from the very beginning. This international upbringing shaped not only his worldview but also the eclectic sound that would later define his career.
He grew up in London, where the city’s vibrant music scene introduced him to the raw energy of rock and the sophistication of progressive and experimental sounds.
Eager to deepen his craft, Skeb pursued formal studies in music, first at a jazz school in Paris, where he explored harmony, improvisation, and composition, and later at the London University of Music, where he refined his technical mastery and developed his own voice as a composer and performer.
Skeb’s music blends the complexity and ambition of progressive rock with the sensitivity of jazz and the storytelling spirit of pop and rock traditions. His songs move seamlessly between soaring guitar-driven passages, atmospheric textures, and intricate rhythmic structures — a style that is both cerebral and emotionally gripping.
Beyond his solo work, Skeb has been a prolific collaborator, bringing his artistry to numerous bands and projects, including the acclaimed group No Name Faces. These collaborations have allowed him to stretch beyond genre boundaries, connecting with musicians from different backgrounds and building a reputation as a versatile and visionary creator.
Today, Skeb continues to push the limits of progressive rock, blending his global influences into a sound that is unmistakably his own. Whether on stage or in the studio, he invites listeners into a sonic journey that reflects a life lived across cultures, languages, and musical traditions.
